Overview

Usure is a Chrome extension built by CookieTin. We take privacy seriously — all data stays on your device. We collect nothing, store nothing on our servers, and share nothing with anyone.

What data Usure stores

Usure saves the following to your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local), on your device only:

• Your hourly rate (if you choose to enter one)

• Your settings (pause timer, intercept mode, on/off toggle)

• Mood check-in history (mood selected, time of day, day of week)

• Purchase pass history (price amounts you chose not to buy)

• Aggregate counters (total check-ins, total pauses)

None of this data ever leaves your device. It is never transmitted to CookieTin, third parties, or any external server.

What data Usure does not collect

• No names, emails, or personal identifiers

• No browsing history

• No financial or payment information

• No location data

• No information about what products you view

Host permissions

Usure requests access to all URLs (https://*/*) solely to detect purchase buttons on shopping sites. It does not read, record, or transmit page content.

Third-party services

Usure does not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party SDKs.

Children

Usure is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at cookietin.app.
